Experience nature with Van Gogh at the Menmoerhoeve in Etten-Leur
The Van Gogh project 'Vase with 15 sunflowers' at De Menmoerhoeve in Etten-Leur, realised in 2024 at the initiative of Van Gogh National Park, will have a sequel. The project attracted over 21,000 visitors in three months in 2024. A few enthusiasts, in consultation with De Menmoerhoeve, conceived the plan to convert the field along the public walking route network into an 'Experience Field'. Unlike the sunflower project, this is now a sustainable, multi-year project. Preparations and implementation started in January 2025.
The Beleefakker consists of a labyrinth based on living willow, an avenue of fruit, flower strips, a butterfly garden and a toad pool.
