During the open town walk, guides from the Heemkundekring Ravenstein will gladly take you through the beautiful town on the Meuse. A visit along the fortifications, city gates, churches, beautiful facades and a city park with gazebos. You will become acquainted with the rich history of the more than 650-year-old center. For centuries Ravenstein was the capital of the Land of Ravenstein, an autonomous area in North - East Brabant that was ruled by Kleef princes.
Every second Sunday of the month, a town walk starts at 14:00 at the former Town Hall, St. Luciastraat 2. There is no need to make reservations for this. The walk takes about an hour and a half and costs € 4.00 per person. If you would like to combine a walk with a visit to the Tannery Museum or Stellingmolen De Nijverheid, please contact the Ravenstein Tourist Information Center (TIR) for a "Day Out Ravenstein".
