This cycle route takes you to the 3 water mills and 2 towers. With your own bike you will come across the most beautiful spots in and around Nuenen. You will see the Hooidonk watermill, located near the foundations of the old monastery there with statiegang in the park and the chapel. You will pass the old tower of Nederwetten. You will see the Collse watermill and the Opwetten watermill. There is also time for a cup of coffee or tea. Then we cycle to the foundations of the "Old Tower" (which Vincent painted many times) and the old cemetery where his father is buried. You will hear accompanying stories at all the sights and enjoy beautiful views.
