Dozens of enthusiastic volunteers work on ultimate Van Gogh experience in Etten-Leur

Last Saturday, dozens of volunteers from the Van Gogh Etten-Leur Foundation gathered to learn about the multimedia immersion in the life and spirit of Vincent van Gogh. They also discussed which dots to dot in the coming months to present visitors with the ultimate Van Gogh experience in Etten-Leur. With the merger of the Vincent van Gogh Etten-Leur Foundation(Van Gogh Church) and Museum The Art of Living (Museum Sint Paulushofje), the story of Van Gogh in his Etten-Leur period will be told even more powerfully and broadly.

On Thursday, July 3, the Van Gogh Church will reopen to the public after a thorough renovation. At the two locations (church and Paulushofje), visitors will be introduced to Vincent van Gogh during his Etten period (April-December 1881). In the church one steps into the spirit of Vincent and in the Paulushofje one looks, as it were, through his eyes at the people, crafts and environments that inspired Van Gogh. The official opening of the new Van Gogh Experience will take place in October 2025.

Lex Besselink, Van Gogh Etten-Leur: "We are delighted with the merger that will offer visitors more in Etten-Leur and we are very proud of such a large club of volunteers who have always been ready and are now even more ready to welcome visitors and take them into the world of Van Gogh in Etten-Leur."
