Schools

After a successful collaboration around Vincents Lichtlab, ASML and Van Gogh Village Museum are strengthening their cooperation in the form of a three-year partnership. This means, among other things, that all children up to and including 17 years of age will have free admission. The cooperation also includes an educational program being developed especially for schools. A separate audio tour for young people is also in the works.

In this way, young people can discover the inspiring story of Vincent van Gogh in the museum, and in the Light Lab they can learn about the interaction between technology and art.

It is expected that more will be known about this educational program for schools after summer break 2024.

We have a special offer for both primary and secondary schools. Central to this is a visit to the museum.

One of the new exhibitions is Vincent's Light Lab, realized in collaboration with ASML. At Vincents Lichtlab, everyone can experiment with perspective and light, just as Van Gogh did in his time. Light is color and color is light. But what is color? What is light? What do we actually see? How does that work, experiencing light?
